We had our first Norwegian end-of-term test today. We could choose if we wanted to take bokmål or nynorsk first, and I chose bokmål, which I oddly enough haven't started regretting yet. Okay, so the day got off to a bit of a rocky start. My math teacher walked into the room and decleared that she would be the one

A tip for the nynorsk one: look up the words. It helps lots!

Oh, I'm definitely going to look up the words ;)

I always do, but it's a part of what makes me dislike it. It's really hard to get any sort of flow to the writing when you're looking stuff up all the time.

I hate it too. Just make sure you don't write bokmål and then translates it to nynorsk afterwards. Go straight with nynorsk. Then when you've finished, take GOOD time to go through all the words. That helped me a lot on my exam (we had the nynorsk exam before Christmas instead of this spring).

(I, myself, always specifically looked for the word "man", as you can't write it in nynorsk (as I am sure you already know).)
