I've been watching Doctor Who. Okay, so been watching might be a bit of an overstatement, but I've watched three episodes over the last couple of days. It's definitely enjoyable, although I think it's a bit over the top at times. I feel like I had completely forgotten that not all TV shows are American, so Doctor Who is a bit refreshing in that

Ah, Facebook.

Facebook has a Scandinavian design? Really?

I suppose it does, although I'm not really sure what the criteria for being a Scandinavian design really are. I think they just labeled it Scandinavian because it was all clean and simple, or something.

I have to say I have never heard such a thing. And Facebook is American. Is simple and clean really related to Scandinavian? I am just curius because I haven't heard that before.
Btw, who do you like better, Martha or Rose?

"Scandinavian Design emerged in the 1950s in the three Scandinavian countries (Denmark, Norway and Sweden) as well as Finland as a design movement characterised by simple, uncomplicated designs, minimalism, stylisation, functionality, and low cost mass production."
I guess people do relate it to clean and simple, then. Although I think the things the things the Wikipedia article mentioned are more characteristic of IKEA than Scandinavian design in general.
I loved the scenes with The Doctor, Martha and Jack in the last few episodes. But I think the whole Jack storyline made a lot more sense to everyone who knows the backstory than it did to me. Well, I haven't seen that many episodes with Rose in them, but from what I've seen so far, I like Martha better. She seems to be much tougher and more grown-up.
