They put a baby in my lap today--because the father had to deal with the other twin who was fussy and didn't want to leave the three month old in the arms of a fourteen year old. I don't think I was the best choice for this particular duty. Babies smell. And your arms get tired after a few minutes of holding them. These were all the thoughts
