Here [Background]
A huge fire burning and killing everyone in the city and serverly injuring those nearby. This was the hell he suffered from ten years ago, Shirou being the only one that survived after being saved by Emiya Kiritsugu who soon adopted him. Then he tells him that he is a magi, being young he instantly believed him. As time passed on though, he found that he really was one and Shirou begged him to teach him. Giving in slightly, he taught him the art of strengthening after a weird first incedent.
Ever since then, Shirou has made it his goal in life to become a superhero or a ally of justice just like his dad. Although he passed away 2 years ago, the desires still burns strong within him. Life had been very normal besides that. He would go to school, work and constantly led a hand to those that need help.
One day, he decided to stay after school and in the end witnessed Servant Lancer and Archer fighting each other on the school grounds. He tried to run away but in the end, Lancer caught up to him and pierced him through his heart. At that moment he should have died but he was saved by someone who he couldn't recall. Being smart Shirou went home but Lancer greeted him there and fought him. Only being able to use one kind of magic, the outcome was obvious as he was strongly overpowered. However, he managed to summon his own Servant at the last minute, Saber.
She went after Lancer but got wounded and he retreated, however she sensed an enemy nearby and started attacking before she was ordered to stop by Shirou. Turns out Archer's Master was Tohsaka Rin from school. She then takes him to the church to go over the rules and he decides to fight in this war known as the Holy Grail war and then they run into yet another enemy.
Before them was a giant known as Berserker standing along side a seemingly innocent girl who turned out to be his Master in the war. Saber begins fighting Berkserker as Archer briefly participates in the battle and his help proves to be vital in driving Berserker away. The next day, Shiro goes to school with Saber, introducing her to Taiga and Sakura.
The next day when all the students and teachers left the school, Rin resumes her attack on Shirou persistent with the intent to kill him unless he releases his command spells of Saber. However, this is cut short when Servant Rider attacks a lone student and Shirou rushes along with Rin to help the girl.
Shiro and Rin then set up a truce and begin searching for the possible candidate of Rider's master. In the night, however, Shiro is taken by magic to the Ryuudou Temple, by Caster, who wishes to take away his Command Spell. Archer interrupts and saves Shiro while Saber confronted Assassin. It is at this moment that Shiro starts to get even more irritated by Archer, who has since looked down on his ideals. Archer then attacks Shiro, but is thankfully stopped by Saber and Assassin, who in the end, helped him.
The next day and the days to come, Shiro would receive dreams about a hero who was betrayed by his ideals. Feeling bad about about what happened with Archer Rin explains that she used a Command Spell on him so that he wouldn't attack him as long as they were cooperating. Soon after though, Rider activates Blood Fort Andromeda. Trying to find her, she is already killed. Shinji runs away, to scared to do anything. Afterward, Archer and Saber debate on how Rider was killed with Archer believing she was a weakling, while Saber believing she died with honor protecting her Master.
With Rider dead, Shirou and Rin suspect that there's another Master in there school which in turn leads them to suspect Issei, who lives at the Ryuudou Temple. However, after an "examination" for Command Spells, Shirou deduces that he wasn't the one thankfully. Instead, it was the teacher Kuzuki Souichirou. He was the Master of Caster. They manage to fight both of them off as Kuzuki displayed extraudenary fighting skills.
The next day, Rin decides to take Shirou on a date taking Saber with them. Unfortunately, when they returned home they were met with Caster holding Fujimura hostage. She asks that he give up Saber's Command Spells. Shirou tries to follow her demands but she instead attacked Saber with her weapon known as the Rule Breaker which transferred his Commands over to herself. After constant warning from Saber, Shirou and Rin then run away. A little after Rin declares that she will go defeat Kuzuki with Archer and that Shirou should stay put despite his protests.
Shiro follows and witnesses Rin confronting Kuzuki and Caster in the Kotomine Church, their new base of operation. To her shock, Archer suddenly betrayed Rin and attacked her. Shiro saved her, and although she was reluctant, she eventually thanked him and accepted his help again. With Archer gone, both decided to get the help of Ilya and Berserker. Unfortunately, they arrived too late as Shinji and Gilgamesh are there first. Gilgamesh completely destroys Berserker, and rips Ilya's heart out. Both of them retreat, leaving Shirou and Rin in despair that their only hope left was crushed, until Lancer suddenly emerges and offered his help, which they agree to.
Going back to the church, they confront Caster and her Master as Lancer kept Archer busy outside. The match turned out to be a stalemate and finally fed up with everything, Caster attempted to use a spell to make Saber submit however was stopped as a rain of swords were aimed at Kuzuki. Caster died protecting her Master as Kuzuki then proceeded to fight Archer even though he lost rather quickly. With Saber released from Caster, Shirou rushed towards her but was pushed out of the way as Archer attacked Shirou yet again. He then revealed his goal to kill Emiya Shirou. Rin made a pact with Saber as her new Master which made Archer use his Reality Marble until he kidnapped Rin and took her off to the castle.
The next day, Shirou, Saber and Lancer made their way to the castle. Upon arriving, Lancer instantly took to go save Rin who was at the other end while Saber and Shirou stayed. It is then revealed that Archer is actually Emiya Shirou, who became that which he tried so hard to become. He wanted to kill his past self as to create a time paradox and to spare his past self the pain and torture that lies at the end of his ideals. Saber agrees to not interfere with their fight though and kept to that even as the outcome should have been clear as Shirou was near death. However, he managed to regain some of his strength and relentlessly attacked Archer who in the end admitted that he lost and that Shirou won.
They were soon interrupted by Rin, who Lancer had saved even though he didn't show with her, as well as Gilgamesh who tried to kill Shirou. Archer moved to keep Shirou out of the rain of his attacks over and over again. Gilgamesh soon retreats as fire would soon encase the entire castle.
After a day of rest, Shirou, Rin and Saber showed up at Ryuudou Temple with a plan to stop the Grail. Things got messed up though as Saber arrived too late to battle Gilgamesh and told her to go help Tohsaka who thought to get Shinji out of the Holy Grail. This left him to fight Gil who he actually fought face-to-face with as Shirou finally managed to summon his own version of "Unlimited Blade Works". Unfortunately, something strange happened and the Grail appeared to be swallowing Gil whole and tried to take Shirou with him. He was stopped as Archer turned out to still be alive and killed him with a head shot.
Exhausted, all Shirou could do was complain about Archer showing off as Rin arrived to say her finally goodbye's to him. He later wakes up in his room and makes breakfast but decides to explore a little and finds Saber still alive. Turns out that Rin decided to keep her as her familiar and that Saber agreed.
[Personality]
Shirou is a good-natured guy, he used to be the type that would sacrifice himself to save others but later changed a bit due to Tohsaka, Saber, and Archer.
On the other hand, Shirou is the very dense type and isn't that good at picking up hints. You have to tell him straight out or chances are he still won't get it, or make a weird misunderstanding. Despite this though, he does have good instincts from time to time but not that often.
He always speaks his mind regardless of the situation he is in or the mood of the atmosphere so he is a horrible liar and is only good at changing the subject instead. When he believes something, he will die for it, whether it's the trust of someone or for someone he loves and wants to protect. Although, he has changed in the fact that he will try to stay alive as to not burden his friends as he did so in the past.
With all this, he is surprisingly able to keep his cool in the most unbelievable and horrible situations allowing him to think things through carefully before acting. However, this proves to be useless when he gets mad and all of those thoughts of keeping calm fly through the window.
[Specialties/Abilities] Shirou is able to "strengthen" objects as well as trace and project weapons and swords that he has knowledge of. Although, if he projects too much his body will tire out as project is nothing but a byproduct of the only magic he can really use. He can trace and project up to 20 weapons in an instant but can only do that three times at best before he will be at the verge of collapsing.
Along with this, when he has enough magical energy, he is able to create a Reality Marble after saying a spell. In it is an unlimited amount of blades hence its name "Unlimited Blade Works". Within that world, he can call swords, weapons and shields a lot faster and normally is able to rain them down upon his enemies much like Archer and Gilgamesh although he can't do it as much as either of them.
Inside his body is the shealth of Exaclibur, while alone this means nothing but making him last a little longer in most situations, he gains self-healing abilities the closer Saber he is. Otherwise, he has a normal healing speed.
In Somarium he is definitely nerfed but can still go head-to-head Archer and Gilgamesh. For how long though is a totally different story
[Affection] He is reeaallyyy dense so good luck. Plus, he's technically already in love with someone else.
[Fighting] He is a really good fighter, can hold his own. Just let me know before you try to kill him since that would be really hard.
[Other Facts] He is a really, really good cook. Also is an excellent archer and has been known to never miss. The only time he did was when he tried to miss on purpose and even then he felt accomplished in being able to do that when he wanted to.
Also, Archer is the future end of his ideal. Pretty much meaning they are the same person but at the same time they are totally different. They will fight and argue whenever they see each other or whenever someone they know brings them up.
