ok so today, Justin and I got this thing in the mail saying how we have been picked, due to our academic success, to study abroad! Now I am extremely interested in this...because right now they are offer for us to either go to mainly England or Australia...now as soon as I read this im like "AUSTRALIA!!" but its a ton of money...so either or would ( Read more... )

Suggestion: that $7K figure is ENORMOUSLY expensive, especially for such a short stay. Find out if your school will accept transfer study abroad credits and look into some other schools that might offer the same programs at a lower price. In particular, University of Delaware has the largest range of study abroad programs in the country, and the tuition, room, and board aren't all that expensive (usually you get enough to cover 2 meals a day), and they usually go for a month. Germany cost me just shy of $5K, and it was 32 days.

im going to the meetings they have about it in the upcoming weeks. Im just really interested...anything that will take me out of NJ lol. But I will look into everything, especially what you said. I dont know if I am definately doing it...but when I get more information and it sounds like a good deal...then I'm gone! LoL!
