Wow, you sure crammed a heck of a lot into one day! Glad you got to see some of the beautiful "real Ireland" before you leave! Some great photos of the whole family in there too.
Great pics, thanks for sharing. Looks like a great day, that's a beautiful part of the coastline and I always love the Giants Causeway as it's so unique. Did you see the Carrick-a-rede ropebridge?
Lately when I have a song in my head I try to find them on Last.FM Couple nights ago it was any Scottish air (with a solo piper) in front of Led Zeppelin's "In the Light". Gives me gooseflesh for somereason.
A very nice entry here. I'll tell my step-daughter of her prolific castle building ancestors - the Burkes.
Here via americanintheuk. Gorgeous pictures -- they bring back loads of wonderful memories. I spent half a year in Northern Ireland while my husband was a postgrad as well and absolutely fell in love with the place. Good luck with the move back to the US!

If you are looking for another beautiful place to visit you should try the Rostrevor/ Carlingford area on the other side of the Mourne Mountains. The views from the hills are spectacular.

We didn't do the bridge because our little one was wore out and we knew he'd refuse to walk anymore. lol
