Taking a break

Whew.

Trying to fit your whole life into 10 bags....for the second time in a year...is hard work! Each person was allowed 2 bags. Jarod filled up half a bag and Rebecca said she needed 5 bags. lol Jarod gave her some of his room but she still had to leave a lot behind, so she asked if she could leave her clothes so she would have room for her books. We said yes, clothes can be replaced but the books here are so different she won't be able to find them in the states.

Lorraine came over last night and watched Man v Food with me, I love that show and was trying to show her how great America is "Look Lorraine! Where else could you get a 6 pound burrito?" (She's never had a burrito or nachos! Oh the horror! I've got to get her to the states for some TexMex!)

Geraldine and Seamus just picked up the kids and took them to the movies so I could get some packing done. (Or ummm, you know....blog. lol)They are seeing G-Force or something - spy gerbils, I dunno.

The after school program the kids were in all last year started back up this week. :-(
We are going to miss the program so much! It was so wonderful for us, free and the kids loved it. And we got to do so much with them. We are so grateful that we were able to go on so many amazing field trips with them. The director of the program was so kind, in fact he just stopped by our house and asked if we could all go out to a goodbye lunch tomorrow and then the kids are also going to go and say goodbye to all their friends there.

I can't believe we have just one more day here! This year went by so fast!

Ok, back to shoving items in overstuffed bags. Should be a competitive sport.
