I fail at snow - massive update with photos

It's been snowing for 3 days and apparently it's not going to stop until sometime around March....Wee. Something else I didn't realize is that the snow never melts during this time! In Arkansas if it snowed....it was always gone by the next day or two. It was nice that way, never outstayed its welcome. Snow that will be here for a few more months ( Read more... )

Remember when it snowed in Belfast last winter for a couple of days and the place almost shut down! Snow here for a couple of days and you have the perfect excuse for getting some time off work "couldn't get the car outta the street this morning, snow too bad...was a whole 3 or four inches deep!" lol
OOOOh Imagine if it was like that for months!

I think you have to have quite a bit of crazy in your to live up here....and I say that with the upmost respect for the locals.

Yeah, i'm starting to get homesick for Oregon again...and we only have a tiny bit of snow on the ground. But it is sooo cold!!! :(

And I was going to say, the pastor's family in a Midwestern town is always famous. lol You'll be amazed how much you end up in the newspaper.

That's crrrazzzy about the snow! Like mumotwo said if it snows here for one day the whole country goes into crisis mode. I can't imagine having to function when it stays around for so many months!!

Nice to see Jarods travel pages, it's great how you've kept all the tickets, etc. Nice to look back on things like that.

you ARE famous. Not everyone knows people all across the globe! Kyler thinks it's weird that we know someone everywhere we go in this small town. . .I would die with that much snow! I got my post card--THANK YOU!!
