ok.. so i know you are going to say.. "yeah, yeah, yeah, i've heard this one a million times, especially from you, bethanne" but i think this is so true. gay guys tend to be the best friends for girls. i mean come on.. look at all the advantages. most are more sensitive than straight guys as for the emotional part anyway. and the most important thing of all, they can check out guys with us, relate to how guys are treating them with how guys are treating us, and most of the time.. they tend to respect us more often because dammit.. they are looking for a girl. the other thing.. they are like permanent dates for us, whether we have a a boyfriend or not.. they are kinda like a backup.. but not really because you could take them at anytime
( ... )
on gay guys... again!orionsglowFebruary 14 2002, 13:11:34 UTC
it's actually quite funny though. somehow i manage to relate something i talk about to gay guys. how i love this whole new friendship thing. i think every "fag hag" knows exactly what i am talking about. that comfort you have in knowing that your guy friend won't break your plans for a girl. but i guess on the other hand he might break them for a guy but at least he lets you know about it before he does it.
oh well, ONE REALLY GOOD THING. you can have 2 boyfriends. your true boyfriend and your gay boyfriend. ahhh.. life is good.
Good stereotypes... hmmm...
how about, outgoing people have a lot of self-confidence.... ( this could be argued that its a fact and not a stereotype, but trust me, I know a lot of people who are outgoing that lack self confidence)
This is actually a hard question to come up with answers for, at least I think so.
And happy candy and flowers day! =)
I think the hair dye is going to my brain. This si my second response since I posted the first one then looked back over what other people had written and realized I misread and didn't notice you wanted "GOOD" stereotypes....
OK... GOOD stereotypes to me are the ones that keep me outta trouble..
Like- when you see a dirty guy in a big trench coat and straggly hair who stares at you like your a peice of meat, you probably don't want to ask him what time it is. Because, he probably would rather mug you and give you the time of day.
But, not all these stereotypes are true either- like how not all drug dealers are bad ;) *wink*
So now I am back to the argument that stereotypes suck even if they are good.
