I am starting to realize that not hanging around anyone can be rather boring. It feels like all I do anymore is the same thing over and over. Life is a routine, always. Wake up, go to class, come home, play games, sleep. Sometimes add homework and my job in. What a life! It's not just the boredom either. It's my sanity that gets tugged at, ( Read more... )

The bad thing is, the majority of the time a woman gets elected into public office, the main reason is because she displays traits similar to a man. The similar projection and attitude is probably what makes her so favorable among her fellow male workers. But yes, I do think a woman should be elected next -- and mainly if she doesn't act like a man at all -- simply for the pleasure of a good smack-in-the-face-contrast.

in case ya care...i don't really think the sex of the next president should matter, we just need someone to help rebuild the mess that has been made...and i'm not just talking about in the past term. If the best "man" for the job, as the phrase goes, is a woman, then dammit, i hope she gets elected...but if the person to bring improvements (such a relative term that one) to the country is a man...well...so be it. But i do agree, it would be nice to get some change of perspective in office, and maybe that's just what the country needs...a new perspective can go a long way to making things..."better"...but yeah...that's just my humble opinion...
how you been btw?...don't ever see ya anymore...(i know i know, probably a lot of that is my fault...but still wonderin how you are...)

shouldn't it depend more on how well they would lead the country?

not that, I just meant that if a man and a woman are both in the running, you shouldn't vote for the woman just because she happens to have two X chromosomes

Or maybe I would vote for her because there would be a likely change in how this country is lead.
