I really should be preparing my lunch for tomorrow and then getting ready to go to bed early, but I just got to post about how awed I am about Erica Durance's performance in tonight's Smallville episode.
That part where Lois talks to Oliver about him not holding up his end of the bargain of saving the world, that was just awesome! I loved how she tender and caring she was, and yet so strong, emotional wise. Her expression when she is trying to hide from Clark that she is close to tears, I just love that bit. Erica Durance is doing a terrific job as Lois Lane.
The back story with Oliver and Tess is very intriguing as well. I'm a romantic shipper at heart so any time there seems to be "something there" between two characters I get curious about what had happened and there's always the tempting possibility of "what if...", like, what if Tess and Oliver were dating but didn't broke up. Judging by the bitter tone in Tess's voice when she said Oliver never said goodbye I feel there's still feelings there between those two.
And the preview for next week's episode! *squeals*
I echo what other clois fans have been saying, season 8 of Smallville seems to be finally going where Clark needs to be.
