This is one of the most HURTY stories I am reading. It's one big ball of angst. Jensen is nowhere near healed, Jake has turned vengeful, Jared is walking a tightrope, and Jensen's mother is terrified for her son, rightly so. And Steve...is free. Jensen makes me cry, and he doesn't even know he's slowly committing suicide. His visiting Jake was the WORST thing that could have happened to him, although I hope it helped Jake get some of his rage out and direct it at someone. And his momma being so sick. I'm really worried that Jensen is just going to lose it and quit life if his mom dies. He'll either waste away or get put into an institution ( ... )

Oh goodness, I have to say this is one of the best reviews to get =D

Steve being free is the most shocking to me, personally. But when he was introduced, it was after reading an article where someone only got 8 months. Which left me with an "um, excuse me? Tell me that's a typo." Jensen... Poor thing, he's a bundle. The only thing he was ever treated for was depression, not the other problems =(. Sadly, many people don't find out how close they are until the very end.

Visiting Jake was the worse thing for him. Both the mother's had thought it was a good idea, bless them, but... There was only a brief few paragraphs, but Jake's doctor believed it might help him. When she came in she let the scene unravel, concerned only for Jake, not Jensen's well-being. I may, or may not go more into that.

Jared's motivations and actions will slowly become clear as Jensen begins to understand Jared a bit more. Jensen doesn't get a thing about this new Jared that is almost completely different from the one he knew before. Now that he's ( ... )

Wow this has turned into quite the intense story. I really like where it's going, it's painful to read at times (the things Jake said to Jensen especially), but I'm glad Jared's there for Jensen trying to find those videos/pictures and trying to get him to eat. Poor Jensen, he's just one big ball of pain and angst isn't he?

Great job - can't wait to see what happens next.

Aww, thank you!

It is getting intense. I'm glad you like where it's going, I'm liking it as well. To think this was only suppose to be one part. The three chapters of Are We feeling Awkward Yet? were all there was suppose to be until it... escaped. Writing the scene with Jake was... intense for me, to say the least. And quite shocking as Jake wasn't suppose to be that.

Thank you, again! <333
