Demyx slowly approached the house. He wasn't expecting it to be so large and well kept, though never meeting this "Tidus" guy he wasn't really sure what to expect. He stood on the porch for a moment, ready to knock, but he noticed the door was already slightly ajar. He peeked his head in and called out,

“Hello? Is anyone here?” He took a few steps inside and noticed the inviting furniture. “Wow… I must be the first one here…” He said mostly to himself. He took off his shoes before fully entering the house, purely by habit, and walked over to the couch. He sat with his hands folded in his lap, looking about the neatly kept house.

“Hmm. Perhaps this won’t be so bad. Especially if it stays nice and quiet like this.” He smiled and leaned against the back of the couch.

Saix still couldn't fathom why he was here as he locked his car and headed up the walkway to the house. It looked quaint and nice enough. In fact, he kinda of liked the coloring of it, but, of course, Saix being Saix, he wasn't going to say that aloud. At least he would know the person hosting, since he had done that arcade thing and all with Tidus (which was probably the reason he was here when he thought about it ( ... )

Demyx jumped when he heard the unfamiliar voice. He looked over and saw the man with blue hair. He wasn’t sure if he lived there, or maybe in fact was Tidus… Hard to judge when he has never met him.

“Hi…" He said, somewhat nervous. He doubted that it was Tidus... This guy looked too serious to ever throw a party. "My name is Demyx." He smiled lightly.

"Uh, do you live here?” He asked quietly.

Saix looked the blonde up and down with his golden eyes, his face set in a cool mask. Mentally, he wondered if it was worth responding. In the end, he decided it was. He had spent the last few days wondering how he would survive his senior life at Lifestream High (especially after his run ins with Sora and Tifa), and decided that TRYING to be nicer might be a start. Of course, he heavily stressed trying because he was loathe to do it. And it was mostly because if he liked people, it meant his dad was winning. Oh well. If he survived, it meant he ultimatley won, so why not?

"Saix," the blue-haired senior offered. "And no, I don't live here." Though, he wouldn't mind. His home wasn't some...homely as this.

Aeris honked her horn in front of Tifa's house. They were nearly late for the party, and at the rate her truck was running, they wouldn't get there until midnight. "Come on, Tifa..." she grumbled. They had to pick up Sora in the meantime. She sighed. Who knew getting to a party would be more stressful than school had been altogether?

"Don't stay up for me!" Tifa shouted, waving to her aunt and uncle. She ran down her front steps and walked up to Aeris' truck. It seemed to growl at her as she opened the creaky door. "Sorry," she said, hopping in. "Guardians were bothering me about my curfew." She snapped in her seatbelt and smiled at her friend. Safety first! "But all ready! Did you bring your bathing suit?" Tifa held up hers, a two-piece of solid white with a buckle on the front of the top and a medium-link belt on the bottom.

"Of course." Aeris pulled hers from the glove compartment, having nowhere else to store it. Once dirt from an old flower pot fell from it, it was a simple pink bikini, modest and revealing at the same time. She shoved it back into the compartment. "Now, buckle up. We have to pick up Sora, and I want to be on time." She revved the engine, and it whined pitifully. Aeris groaned. She hoped Gippal and Rikku could fix it.

Tifa dug her hand into her purse and pulled out a thick black square. "I also brought my CD collection so we can show them what real music is," she said, smiling again. "And we're picking up Sora?! YAY!" She put the CD collection back into her purse before settling back in the truck. It was a beautiful night tonight. "Cloud better show up...Loser.."

The house was lovely, Garnet noted as she stepped up to the front door. She seemingly to have lost Zidane yet again and she quite didn't know how he'd suddenly disappeared like that. He must've ran off somewhere she didn't know again to meet some random girl or Terra. She shook her head inwardly, letting out an exasperated sigh.

She raised her hand to knock but she noticed that it was open already. But being raised as a lady by her own mother, she decided to stay on the porch until she saw Tidus. She never liked barging inside other people's houses.

Completely down down the stairs, he ruffled his hair some more with the towel set on his head, and opened the door wide. "Oh hi, Garnet right? How long have you been out here? These guys really don't know what to do when someone's waiting at door..." Tidus smiled at her and moved to the side to let her in. "Come in! Don't be shy, I won't bite." He led her to the living room and introduced the two guys.

"The grumpy looking guy with the blue hair is Saix, and the guy on the couch is Demyx. Guys, this is Garnet." He waggled his finger at them.

Garnet smiled brightly, thanking the gods for finally letting Tidus appear. She peered warily inside the house as if something would suddenly pounce on her before stepping through the doorway, feeling a bit uneasy with her clothes.

"Ah, it's okay. I was actually hoping that someone I know would arrive," she replied cheerily. "It's kinda awkward to suddenly just appear like this. And all alone." She managed a small smile at them.

Temporarily turning his attention away from Saix, he noticed the girl. Garnet, he thought was her name. He recalled Zidane talking about her a lot.

"Hey... Um, i know i don't really know you, but I think Zidane spoke something of being late."

First he had to see whatever problem Aeris was having with her car. 'Wierd noises' as she put it. After that, the night was his. "Time to party!" Gippal grinned and winked at Terra playfully as he parked his car and pulled out his key, dropping them into his pocket.

Popping the door open, he jumped out and went around and opened the passenger seat for Terra, "Milady?"

"Don't even pretend." Rikku shot her old boyfriend a dirty look as she passed, heading up the walk to Tidus's house. She'd had to travel on foot, not being old enough to drive and having one of the most inconsiderate brothers of all time. She was already tired as hell, but determined to do her part at her very first highschool party.

She knocked on the door lightly, still trying to uphold a somewhat ladylike image despite sneakers and a short t-shirt that read "What a woman!" across her boobs.

Saix mentally began to curse as he counted the number of people he DID NOT like starting to come in through the door - Gippal and Rikku among them (Gipal for having a one up on him for the car thing, and Rikku because she was a hyper type like Sora). He prayed to God he could find a dark corner, hide, sneak out, and live.

"Hello, hello! Welcome to my house... Rikku was it?" Tidus opened the door, and ushered her into his house. "Garnet's in the living room, and I'm about to put on some music on."

He led her to the room, and went over to the entertainment system, turning on the speakers, and CD player. He called out behind him. "What do you guys want to here? I'm taking requests."

Kefka blinked slowly at the house in front of him. "Not bad," he muttered to himself, as was his habit. He wasn't really sure why he was here; he never really interacted much with his classmates. He was certain it couldn't be worse than having dinner with his parents, his brother, his brother's girlfriend and her parents, though.

The house was quite impressive, really. And it looked more lived in than his house. Kefka was quite convinced his parents were both obsessive compulsive. It would explain the utter lack of decorations of any sort in their home.

"Won't do any good to stand around here, I guess." He walked up to the door and knocked. After all, he'd promised his shrink to try being social this year. That woman was scary.

Sora was still rather damp from his prompt dunk into the killer pool Tidus' family owned, but he'd toweled most of the water off in deference to the shiny wood floors. He and his dad may have only had cheap linoleum, but Sora could tell that this stuff was expensive. And didn't wood warp when wet? Sora didn't care to find out, especially if he'd have to pay for it with his nonexistent monetary funds ( ... )
