Late, late, late. Would it kill him to arrive on time for once? Zidane had yet to find out. The little bell above the door rang as he shoved it open. Scanning the crowd, he spotted a familiar seated at a table, along with some other people he recognized.

Zidane hurried over and sat down in the empty chair across from Gippal, smiling apologetically. "The fun hasn't started yet, has it?"

He lifted his head, his usual smirk appearing on his lip as he recognized the fellow, "Well, it started, but it's only just the beginning of it," he replied and then notioned to the plate of the pizza pie, "C'mon and grab a slice."

Nanaki entered through the doorway, hungrily awaiting to chow down on some pizza. He knew he was a little late, but nevertheless, he came anyway. Lightly scratching the back of his neck, he walked over to where the others were sitting. He also noticed that Zidane was there too, and was very glad to see him.

"Hey guys." He greeted with a calm tone. He smiled slightly before taking a seat. "Awesome, thanks for treating Gippal!"

"Finally made it! What's up?" he greeted the next arrival in a casual matter as usual, "And no problem. Just grab a slice and a drink it you want and maybe we could soon get this party really started!"

Zidane felt his mouth watering as he bit down into his piece of pizza. From being too wrapped up in homework, he had forgotten to eat today, and this meal was like a miracle. After swallowing he waved at Nanaki. "Glad to see you came!"

Tossing the last bit of the crust from the pizza in his mouth, he elbowed at Zidane, a smirk on his lips, "So, how did you friend date thing with Dagger go?"

Naminé slowly, gently opened the door to the comfortable little pizza place. She knew she was late. She'd gotten so immersed in her painting that she hadn't even noticed the time until it was well past when she was supposed to be there. Which explained why Naminé was out of breath, panting heavily as she noticed the crowd of people at the table and approached them.

"... hello," she gasped, beginning to wish she hadn't run all the way there when her vision blurred a little and she swayed slightly on her sandals.

Zidane grinned widely, happy to see that she had made it. "You seemed tired," he teased. He wiped his hands on a napkin briefly before standing up, and motioned for Naminé to sit down in the chair. "I can find another one."

"T-thank you," Naminé said breathlessly, unable to refuse taking his seat when exhaustion took over her limbs. "I don't run much... as you can see. Sorry for being late."

Nanaki nudged Zidane softly. "Hey, who's that?" He whispered curiously to Zidane, glancing at the frail girl in the white dress that just entered.

Garnet shut her eyes and clenched her hands into fists as she stepped out of the car which had drove her there. As much as she didn't want to go there, well, maybe she just shouldn't. It's like leeching off someone else's money. But the young man did invite her and it's not like her to turn down an invitation on such short notice. It was courtesy.

She gently pushed the door open, cursing under her breath the little bell that rang overhead. She was hoping she would be unnoticeable. Especially by a certain person.

"Ah, Gippal," she greeted with a smile, only freezing at the sight of Zidane beside him. Okay, so the 'unnoticeable' plan just came out of the window.

"I just came around to say 'Hi!'"

Nanaki pleasently smiled at Garnet, "Hey Garnet! Won't you join us?" He replied happily as he took a bite of his pizza, waiting for her reply.

"Uhm..."

Garnet glanced over her shoulder and found that the car was gone. So she was left with two choices: walk home or join them. Walk home in this kind of place, through these kinds of streets, alone. Or join them and hitch a ride home from someone else.

"Uh, sure." She quietly shut the door and glanced away, a frown on her expression. This was so awkward.

Zidane gave a bright smile to Garnet. Sure, they had fought, but he wouldn't let that get in the way of a good night. "Glad to see you could make it, Dagger." He said in a friendly tone.

It wasn't that he'd had zero social life in the past few years. (More like 0.8, thank you very much.) He just didn't really like many people. But upon his parents insistance, he'd become slightly more social. "Your first mission," they had told him "is that pizza party."

So he slipped inside the building and leaned against the nearest wall, pondering on whether he should talk to anyone or not.

"Roxas!" Zidane called out, weaving his way around the bustling customers. "Hey!" he said when he finally reached the other boy. He put on his usual friendly smile. "Come join us at the table! There's plenty for another person."

Roxas blinked. Somehow, he'd sort of convinced himself that he could go the whole night without talking to anyone. He very pointedly ignored the grateful feeling when Zidane approached him, but smiled despite denial.

"Sure," He said, and shrugged, waiting for the boy to lead him there.

With a nod, Zidane led the way back to the table, which was getting quite messy and crowded. He cleared off most of the garbage and used up napkins, and pulled up the last chair he was able to get without having to shove someone off.

He sat back down in his own spot, making a quick glance at the others, glad to see that his two friends were engaged in conversation. "Well," he said to Roxas, having to raise his voice a bit to be heard over the growing noise in the room. "Dig in!"
