Rika was hoping to send the day with Ryo while working on the float, she was hoping the school enviroment would make things clean. It also gave her a little monkey to boss around all day. She looked for him to help her move the boxes she had closer to the float.
She was late due a tussle with rival earlier that had jumped one of Yumi's comrades. So being the leader she had a certain obligation to protect her own. After all she has been feeling pressure from fellow members that her leadership role had been lacking, so she was trying to prove to them she was still capable to lead leaving other aspects of her life to be put at the bottom of her priorities list.
Running thru the clusters of homerooms, Yumi blonde hair flung from right then to the left as she scanned each class trying to spot a familiar face from her own homeroom.
Shivering from the cold Yumi hugged tightly to her coat as she trucked on looking for homeroom A's Float. Not seeing the sleet of ice, Yumi's feet slipped. She desperately tried to keep her balance, but ended up with a loud thud on the frozen ground. Using her hands to push herself up Yumi winced in pain.
"That hurt." She mumbled out loud. She could hear a few snickers.
The parade would be beginning soon. Ritsuko was just happy to not have to go to class today. At least she wouldn't have to worry about not running into him today, she thought as she glanced towards homeroom F's float.
The sound of people laughing broke her thoughts, and Ritsuko looked over in time to see Yumi on the ground. "Ohmigoodness Yumi!!! Are you okay?" She yelled, running over to the blonde.
"AHAHAHAHAHAHA" Ryo crouched where he stood, holding his stomach as he laughed at Yumi. He was heading over to where Rika stood when he saw Yumi slip on the ice.
Shige showed up ridiculously late with no intention of working hard. He would hear from Andrea later, but he didn't care. Today was a day meant to be lazy. Besides, during the festival, he was told not to touch anything. So, just to be safe, he would just watch from afar, he decided with a smile.
Yuusou glared fearlessly at Shige. She had no personal vendetta against him, but Boss-san greatly disliked him. That was merely enough to throw Shige at the bottom of her shit list, along with his followers.
Yuusou lifted a heavy prop with ease and dropped it by Shige. "You do something!" she demanded with mini burning flames in her eyes. She looked at him wondering why Boss-san didn't crush this bug. After all, he didn't seem to be much of a threat; however, she rarely seen anyone as a threat.
Yuu arrived to their designated area at his own slow pace. He brought along some of his supplies for one of his fire shows. If the others didn't want him to do it, it didn't bother him any. It was something that he enjoyed, but he wasn't getting paid for it so either way suited him fine. He looked at the other members and saw that they weren't doing too much. If they were not going to do anything, Yuu decided that he wouldn't either. At that, he sat down near their float waiting until some direction was given.
Andy sighed quietly as she arrived at the site later than expected. Pin-pointing where everyone was, she waited for each one's attention before motioning them over. She made sure she had everyone, atleast she hoped she did, before speaking. "Okay everyone, I want girls in front, boys in back, everyone have fun, but you must be doing something. After sending everyone else to the float, she turned to Yuu. "Ah, Yuu-san, I do hope you have everything ready, I was hoping to see a fire show today." She smiled gently at him before putting her attention on Shige.
(I'm sorry guys, I missed last post. But hopefully I'm back for a good long while. ^.^)
Ripping open large bags of candies, Maikeru started pouring them into bowls. Struggling with one he finally gave it a rough tug, and the reaction was the bag ripping in two. Candy flew up, down, and to the sides. Standing there Maikeru smiled, "Oops." Simply holding the two separated parts of the bag in each hand.
Hikaru walked into the class, carrying costumes. She'd offered to make them and had done so, though she'd stayed up the whole night before to do it. "Managed to get the candy everywhere but in the bowls..." she said softly, surprised at the soft chuckle the escaped her.
((OOC: Hikaru offered to make costumes in the other post....as well as to choreograph a "battle" while others passed out candy. Just in case not everyone read that post....This is why she's got the costumes.))
Kurosaki was eagerly waiting for things to come together. He sat on the edge of the float, swinging his legs freely beneath him. He had offered helping fill the candy bowls, but it was decided that it would be best to keep him away from the candy. He then spent his time eagerly awaiting the costumes. He was excited to see how they turned out. His eagerness was shattered along with Maikeru's bag as his eyes watched candy fly everywhere. "CANDY!!" He yelled, thrusting his fist in the air as he jumped off the float and ran over to where Maikeru stood. Using his shirt as a bag, he began to pick the candy off the ground and load it into his shirt.
Amanda showed up, carrying the new kimono very carefully so as not to accidentally step on it, drag it on the floor or damage it. In her bag were implements for styling her hair properly and geisha make-up, as well as normal everyday make-up. She didn't know which would be used.
Unfortunately for her, she had no idea how to properly put on a kimono so it wouldn't fall off. She'd always had someone dress her the few times she'd been made to wear a kimono. When she'd been training in the south, it had been a maid who specialized in formal kimono. When Leo had been training her, he had been the one to help her into it. All she'd done was put on the under robe by herself.
"I know I will probably sound really stupid....but can someone help me into this thing? I don't have the first clue how to tie this so it won't fall off...." she said, announcing her problem to the whole class. Since the kimono was still wrapped up in the plastic it had been in since bought, the color couldn't be seen yet.
The day of the parade was here, and Miki was well prepared. He had all the equipment he would need at his dad's house. Even the fact that it would be a moving float didn't cause him problems as he had brought all that he would need to keep the lights working brilliantly. He had been determined to bring everything he needed as well. He packed it all high on his bike. Some of it tettered on the back, tied down with a rope. The rest was stacked on his handlebars, fastened together sturdily, but it was still equal in height as Miki, causing him sight problems. It was a troublesome route to school today, but it was successful. With one last connection between two cords, lights lit up their float. Miki sat back, a satisfied smile sitting blatantly on his face triumphantly. Now on to the next technical issue.
Miyavi's ears twitched over hearing the appealing question Amanda asked. Like a sly fox, he crept his way to her side, and with a smile he simply said he would be more then happy to lend a hand. He was already dressed in a royal purple robe, and it had a glamorous gold design along the bottom. His smooth chest exposed through the wide opening of the robe, yet it stopped just before it reached his navel.
"Please don't think it weird that I know how to put these things on," he said with a slight shrug of his shoulders, his bottom lip pushing over his top. "It's just simply one of those random things I learned over my few years," he said jumping quickly to explain.
Yuki watched the sliver ring snake work, or that is what she called him in her blog. /yes....you know how to put it on because you know how to take it off snake
