It has been a week since Sumara competed in the gymnastics competition, and she was still proud of how she performed. She did not end up winning first place, but she was quite satisfied seeing as she hurt herself not too long beforehand. She was upset that her parents did not make it for the competition, and it still surprised her considering her ( Read more... )

Christmas was just another day of the year for Eikichi. Some people spent it with family. Eikichi wasn’t interested in seeing his. Others spent it with a significant other. Eikichi was lacking in that department. He didn’t have the money to indulge in specialty food. He was saving his extra funds for booze on New Year’s. So he spent his Christmas days scavenging around, sometimes pretending to be homeless to get some loose change ( ... )

Sumara was running her usual route that she has become used to since moving to this neighborhood. She sometimes sees interesting things as well as receives interesting looks from the people around her. She doesn't often give them much thought as she has grown used to other people's peculiarities. Today was no different as she spotted this young man squatted by the lamp post intently staring at her. While he looked relatively young, he still seemed too old to be peeping at young jogging girls. At least he wasn't making any cat calls or noises towards her, which has happened numerous times. So many guys can be perverts no matter what part of Japan you're from. Sumara didn't want to make a big deal out of it though and just gave him a shake of her head as she passed him by.

A shake of the head was a nod of approval to Eikichi. He turned his head as she passed, turning it to an uncomfortable position just to get a nice glance of her back side. Just what he was expecting: perfection. He stood up and turned to face the direction she was heading. Eikichi was incredibly athletic, which was usually outweighted by his laziness. He got into track starting position and took off. He ran until he caught up with her, then he slowed to her pace. He was looking straight ahead, but slowly looked in her direction and smiled. "Nice ass," he said before swerving to the right to get away, in case she was going to slap him like many women seemed to do to him. He didn't quite look where he was heading though and crashed right into a bike rack, flipping him over the railing and onto his ass in the gutter of the street.

Sumara kept running past the young man thinking that she was free from any more ogling, at least that she'd be able to see. In the next moment when she heard the derogatory comment coming from the side of her, she gave an inner sigh of disappointment. 'Some people just don't quit', she thought. Before she was able to do or say anything though, the next thing she knew the man was on the ground in the gutter after crashing into a bike rack. Sumara stopped her running and stared for a minute at this guy's undesirable position. She gave a slight smile at his karma. "Nice crash", Sumara simply said mocking his comment that he made towards her earlier. She then started turning in the direction she was going to continue running her usual path. She thought for a second that maybe she should help him, but he looked able enough to assist himself. Plus, who knows what else this guy might say or do to her even while trying to help him.
