Also, I feel like this story is the best interpretation by far of the last scene of A La Cart.
Do you mind if I recommend this at YTDAW?

-My tribute to the fabulous Sara Sidle!
Sure, you can put it on YTDAW. I had it on geekfiction for a little bit, but I'm always doing something wrong format-wise it seems so I gave up on that...
Also on my Got Chalk! site.

I really do love this story. It's a fitting tribute to Sara, and I very much enjoyed how you presented her thoughts and feelings on the transitions that she has endured and the ones that await.
And as a Grissom girl (heh), I like how you managed to spin his and Sara's connection is a very positive light--it's not perfect, it's always evolving, and in the end...it's good. ♥
Cheers!
btw...Sorry that you'll be getting two of these comments in your Inbox. Is there anyway to edit a mistake in a post w/o deleting the original and re-posting?! Argh.

And I whole-heartedly agree with Grasshopped; beautifully lyrical throughout.

I think it's that ongoing inner dialogue that makes Sara such a dear character to us because, well - somehow she has managed to share it with us all these years and that speaks volumes (without really speaking!).
