Mustang Residence, Central, Amestris - Early Evening

The Summer heat was slowly fading now and the evenings were turning a little crisper, but not enough to keep Roy inside. His garden wasn't all that big, but there was room for a table and chairs. The scene was almost too domestic, if it wasn't for the fact that Roy hadn't gardened in his life and the dinner had been prepared by his housekeeper

"I've been sulking about not going all evening," Aly said dryly, raising an eyebrow at him.

Roy laughed and he tilted his head so he could get a view of her legs. "I could have gotten our own box."

She snorted. "Yes, because that's made it better in the past."

"I thought you liked the privacy," he smirked. Even if it'd been a bit of a shame as it meant he rarely could keep his attention on the opera.
