[OOC] Character Survey
Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy? She is a bit short for a girl her age, standing only at 4 feet and 3 inches tall and her weight doesn't help that matter much as she only weighs 6 pounds and a half exactly. This means that she is rather thin and short at the same time.
2. How old is she? Starlette is exactly 14 years old.
3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch? She appears to mostly carry herself well when she transforms into her sailor form, however, in her civilian form, she can go from straight to slouching depending on the situation, but for the majority of the time, she doesn't slouch.
4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? Due to the fact that she is a sailor senshi, she is fairly fit and keeps her self active so to not get too out of shape. Her health is that of an average teenage girl, generally good but from time to time she can get into a bad shape when a bad illness strikes her. She currently doesn't suffer from any illness but she can suffer from a severe anaphylactic shock when she goes near anything that contains peanuts, so she tends to carry her anaphylaxis pen with her at all times. She doesn't have any physical disabilities of note.
5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid? Starlette is the biggest klutz in the sailor team other than Usagi herself! She tends to trip over almost anything and everything almost like she doesn't notice the small things in time. Somehow she manages not to hurt herself badly (or at least, most of the time).
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror? Starlette doesn't really look at herself in the mirror much unless she is trying something new on. She is pretty happy with the way she looks just now, apart from her height, but she knows that she still has a few years left to grow. She is somewhat attractive physically, however, due to her weird hairstyle, a lot of guys and girls seem put off to ask her out as friends or otherwise. The only exceptions to this rule is her fellow sailors and her boyfriend.
7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred? She has a fairly light complexion and doesn't tend to wear anything too revealing in case she gets severe sunburn.
8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style. Her hair is slightly odd compared to most girls her age. It is bright white with several different colours running through it from the top of her head to the bottom of her pigtails. She tends to wear her hair short in one long ponytail in her non senshi form, however when she transforms, she wears her hair in two long curly pigtails. The texture of her hair is rather silky even though it has had multiple treatments to make it look the way it is.
9. What color are her eyes? Her eyes are bottle green.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features? Not really.
11. What are her chief tension centers?
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit? Her wardrobe varies, however, most of her civilian clothes are casual and most pastel compared to the bright coloured sailor suit she wears when she transforms.
13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them? Her clothes fit her rather well, though a lot of her trousers can be a tad too long which means she has to shorten them at the bottom. She seem more comfortable in her civilian clothing than her senshi outfit, but she doesn't seem to know why that is, it is just a feeling in the back of her mind.
14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences? She definitely dresses differently when she does her 'job' than when she does in her free time. While on the job as a sailor scout, she wears an almost blinding white schoolgirl outfit with two multicoloured bows and very brightly coloured boots. When on her free time outside of school, she tends to wear more muted colours as well as something a lot more simplistic, such as a grey t-shirt and blue jeans.
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando? Being that she is pretty ladylike, I am going to say she tends to wear panties, however, if this is asking what she likes in a guy, well... boxers.
Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse? Her voice is rather high-pitched, but definitely not squeaky.
2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate? She tends to hesitate a lot in front of new people, however, with people she knows, she talks easily. She talks softly enough for people to understand her, but not soft enough that she cannot be heard, also she talks rather slowly, again, not too slow that people will think 'speak quicker >.<' but enough that others can understand her.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? She doesn't have any strong accent or dialect or verbal tics.
4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency? Starlette speaks three languages mostly; Primsian which is a long lost language from her planet, she used to be able to speak this fluently as a young child but ever since all the sailors got sent to earth to protect them, she hardly speaks it at all. British English which is her current primary language which she is rather averagely fluent in and Japanese which she learns at school, right now her fluency in it is about beginner level.
5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations? Unless in class or speaking to someone that is Japanese, not really.
6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words? She is not good at impromptu speaking and tends to think about what she is going to say before she says it.
7. Is she eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change? She is more inarticulate and tends to be asked by others about what exactly she was trying to say. Apparently, before she was reborn on earth, she was more eloquent however she has never shown that on earth thus far.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart? She is a little bit of both, but she tends to be more book-smart because she enjoys studying at high school and doesn't bother too much learning more about street-smarts. That however doesn't mean to say that she is as bright as Sailor Mercury however, as she does fail sometimes in tests and has a disdain for Biology.
2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate? As mentioned above, she tends to take her time to think about how she speaks, and it is the same regarding how to act as well. It is more an precaution than anything else.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? She appears to be more of a practical and logical thinker at times, though it really depends on the situation.
4. What kind of education has the character had? Starlette has had a public education in Primary school followed by public education in high school which she is still currently in. Before her rebirth, she had a private tutor that taught her all the things that she needed to know, mostly about being a princess.
5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about? Other than fighting monsters, she has a small area of expertise in Japanese, which is also her favourite subject in high school and one that she is definitely interested in learning more about.
6. Is she an introvert or an extrovert? Despite the way she acts, she is more of an extrovert, she enjoys being around other people and feels very drained when left to her own devices, however, with her shyness and the fact that some people avoid her due to her hair, she ends up being alone a lot of the time when not with the other sailors.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is she even-tempered or does she have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven? She has mood swings though they tend to be random (for an example, she may seem completely calm but out of nowhere shout at you for minor reasons). She is however a very cheerful girl despite this as well as laid-back, though she can act driven if she wants to be.
8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic? She doesn't react well to new people or situations. She tends to be rather timid towards other people and goes rather quiet.

10. Which is her default: fight or flight? This is sort of hard. If she is in front of someone that doesn't know about her powers, she would flee and then fight but if she is on her own or with other senshi, she automatically fights.
11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does she appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks? She appreciates jokes, but she isn't that good at telling them. However, she sometimes mistakes a joke for someone bullying or making fun of her and gets rather upset at times.
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does she deal with them? None (or at least, none in my mind atm).
13. What moments in this character's life have defined her as a person? The most life defining thing that happened to Starlette was finding out that she was a sailor senshi. That changes her whole outlook on life and it also changed the way she thought about how she grew up.
14. What does she fear? I haven't really came up with any fears for her, however, I think that she would fear death or losing someone close to her as they are very important.
15. What are her hopes or aspirations? She hopes to go to Japan one day in the future. She hasn't got a real plan for how she wants to make this happen, but she does know that she wants to practise her Japanese more.
16. What is something she doesn't want anyone to find out about her? That she is a sailor senshi.
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with her parents. Before her parents died, Star had a fairly good and normal relationship with her parents. She had no problems or arguments with them, or at least nothing that caused the family to split apart, unfortunately though, both of her parents died in a car accident just a week before her 12th birthday, and ever since then, she has had to pretty much take care of herself and her 13 year old sister, Careena.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like? Starlette has one sibling and their relationship appears to be rather normal, however, it isn't always peaceful as Star has to make sure to look after Careena because their parents are no longer there to help watch over them.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom she is close? Are there ones she can't stand? She has no other known blood relatives, or at least, she hasn't been able to find any of them.
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom she considers part of her family? What are her relationships with them? She considers her boyfriend as part of her family when they were just friends. The main reason for this is that she had to help pull him through when his younger sister died after she was born from a heart failure. They have a rather strong relationship due to this, but it is never without hassle as they can have fights now and again.
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet? Other than her boyfriend, she didn't many best friends before she met the senshi. I would say that now, her best friend is Koneko Moshiko and that is because they have similar powers (power of the rainbow).
6. Does she have other close friends? Mostly her senshi friends, I've not introduced to many new people outside of that spectrum.
7. Does she make friends easily, or does she have trouble getting along with people? She has a little trouble making people due to her shyness and the fact people avoid her but once she gets past those problems, she actually makes friends rather well as long as she is around other friends.
8. Which does she consider more important: family or friends? This is a hard one, so I am going to say both.
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has she been married more than once? She is together with her boyfriend, but they are not engaged or married. She has never been married before.
10. Is she currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse? As I mentioned above, her boyfriend.
11. Who was her first crush? Who is her latest? I don't think she crushed on anyone outside of her boyfriend, as he was pretty much her 'destined partner' in her past life and she has never crushed on anyone else.
12. What does she look for in a romantic partner? Someone who shares the same interests as her but also can be a friend as well as a lover. Has to have a good sense of humour and must be able to look after her in a protective way. A good personality is also a bonus.
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does she relate to them? If no, does she want any? No, but she would like some in the future.
14. Does she have any rivals or enemies? Outside of the villains she has to fight in her senshi form, not currently.
15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does she fall on the Kinsey scale? Straight as an arrow, so 0 on the Kinsey scale. However, there is a possibility this could change depending on her environment and if anyone used any spells on her or anything else to make her feel different.
16. How does she feel about sex? How important is it to her? Sex is not really important to her right now as she is young, but she feels that she will save herself until she is married because she knows that she is already with her special partner.
17. What are her turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits? Not applicable at the moment.
Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does she fit type? Libra. She fits the easygoing type, while struggling with the social able type, she also fits the Romantic and Charming type. On the bad side, she fits the gullible and easily influenced type.
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in her life? Neither, it isn't an important part of her life.
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it? She doesn't appear to have a personal code of moral and ethics outside of that bad people shouldn't do bad things.
4. How does she regard beliefs that differ from hers? Is she tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent? She is curious about them, but generally tries to not get involved.
5. What prejudices does she hold? Are they irrational or does she have a good reason for them? None I can think of.

1. What is the character's financial situation? Is she rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
2. What is her social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected her?
3. Where does she live? House, apartment, trailer? Is her home her castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does she share it with others?
