The Nexus portal spits you out (Not literally! That would be gross. Although, now they're planning that for next year...) at the gates to an old, renovated, Japanese castle. The normally clean and well kept castle gates are left hanging open and are draped with spiderwebs. The path leading away from the gate and toward the castle is lined with

"Mmmmm candy..."

As Alison approaches with the apple tray, the monkey curls his tail around his perch and uses it to anchor himself. He dangles over the cauldron and grabs a handful of candy to toss into Jubilee's treat pail. Of course, being a pygmy marmoset, his handful is more like two or three pieces. He tries! And his efforts net Jubes a miniature Hershey's bar, two mini peanut butter cups, and a small bag of pumpkin spice gumdrops.
"Apple?" Alison grins and holds the try out. What's Halloween without a candied apple?

She's also carrying a pumpkin pail, and hovers along the path, looking around. Whoever lives here really worked hard on the atmosphere, and judging from her awed expression, they've done an excellent job.
Then she sees the monkey, and her eyes light up.
"Oh, hi!" Waving to him, she chirps, "Happy Halloween! ♪"
Does she think he's the one in charge here? Stranger things have happened.

"He says 'hello'," Alison provides helpfully as she steps up with the plate of apples. For his part, the monkey is dipping candy out of the cauldron with his tiny paws and tossing the pieces into June's bucket.
"Would you like a caramel or toffee apple?"

"Hello! Trick or treat! ♥" Another little laugh, then she adds, "Oooh, I'd love a caramel apple, Miss Red! ♥"

She held up an empty pillow case. "I'm hungry! I mean, trick or treat!"
She does not have the Southern accent unfortunately.

While they're talking, Mapanos starts tossing candy pieces into the pillow case. It may be a few pieces more than usual, but he knows the smell of this small one. She brings him fruit sometimes!
"How about an apple to go with the candy?" Alison offers the plate.

She eyed the plate and picked out a caramel apple. "Apples are gooder for me than candy."
Though she was blithely ignoring the caramel coating. "Oh! You haven't seen my complete costumer yet!"
Not that she had had any of her haul yet. Her brothers were probably still fighting over it while her step-mother hid it away. She turned to a dark shape walking around in the graveyard. It may have been lurking. Or just making sure his own name wasn't on any of the tombstones.
"C'mere!" Gloria Jean waved her father over while bouncing on the balls of her feet. When he finally shuffled over clad in t-shirt and jeans, she promptly handed him her pillow case and held his hand. "See? Complete costume."

"Oh, I see. A complete set!" Alison grinned at Dakota. "Nice costume. Want an apple?"
If he ducks in time, he will avoid the mini chocolate bar the monkey has lobbed in his direction. It's Halloween! Candy must be handed out!

He hadn't seen his wife's outfit yet. Though he had heard her cackling about it.

It was a good thing Alison wasn't carrying her tray of apples when she wandered back over. She'd have dropped the lot of them. And never noticed. Or cared.
Wow...
"Hello there, good looking. What brings you to my lair?" She couldn't help looking him over a time or two as she walked over to him. Yeah. Wow.

"Well, I came looking for a gorgeous mama. Think I found her. Though she had less points sticking out of her head..."
He eyed his wife's ensemble.

"I'm a hot mama!" She wiggled her butt to make the tail swing and then turned back to face him. "I think you out-did me, though. You're much, much hotter..."
