Being mistaken for a girl would almost be a compliment in my eyes. Maybe it's just the way the "gay brain" is wired, but I like the idea of being somewhat girly. It's like additional insight and sensitivity that we girly guys have, which is almost non-existent in super-straight guys. Things like maintaining good hygiene through carefully researched beauty products, or keeping a watch out for your figure by careful eating and hard workouts, or generally trying to not bumble around like the stereotypical straight guy does (ie. being obnoxious, being rude, being generally closed-minded, etc). It's really nothing that can be pinned down and defined, but it is almost a lifestyle or a certain wiring of the brain.

And I'm damn proud to be a girly lion. ^.^

Though, being mistaken for a girl and then being hit on as a girl... THAT is a different story.
