Are you 18 or over? Yes!

Canon: Kingdom Hearts
Character: Larxene / Number 12 (XII) / Savage Nymph
Timeline: After her death.
Personality: Sadistic bitch fits Larxene pretty damn well. Not only is she heartless, but she is also conniving. If there was a good side to the girl, it has long since died. Then again, Larxene might just be good at hiding the weaker side of her personality. Regardless, the effect is the same. If she can knock you down, she will. If she can make you cry, she will. And if, by some cruel twist of fate, she comes out on top for (or in spite of) doing all of those nasty things to you then that's her happy ending. After all, without "feelings" (per se), what other thrill can a Nobody have? At least, that's how Larxene seems to perceive her life.

Yet, there does seem to be a certain desperation in Larxene. Her tenacity when it comes to separating herself from her fellow Nobodies is evidence of this. She puts everything she has into being different (and out-pacing those around her). Larxene hates being one member of a larger group (or doing the grunt work for Nobodies she doesn't respect). Unfortunately, she is too open about her aims and she is too confident that no one will be able to catch up to her. I say "too open"/"too confident" because those are precisely the traits that lead to her death at the hands of Sora.

Over-all, Larxene is a brat who will do whatever it takes to get her way. She isn't above treason, treachery or murder. Nothing seems to hold much interest for her outside of manipulating others. Yet, like her fellow Nobodies, she can be confused by stronger "feelings"/"emotions". (The manga seems to indicate that they can feel certain emotions from time to time.) However, unlike her fellow Nobodies, Larxene usually reacts to said emotions by getting irritated or becoming downright hostile. During those moments, it almost seems like she throws a tantrum. An example of said tantrum occurs when Axel refuses to compliment her Nobody uniform. (Or, rather, how she looks in said Nobody uniform.) I can only assume her feelings were hurt, but she transforms her pain into frustration and anger. To her, the more negative, vengeful emotions seem almost...comforting. She pulls them around her like a cloak and blocks everything (and everyone) else out.

Therefore, it is possible that Larxene does feel more positive emotions. But, for some reason, she has no clue how to deal with them. It's much easier - for her - to put everyone at a distance. If she's in control and if she inspires fear then there's nothing to worry about. But if she's on someone else's level... Well. That's another thing entirely and she isn't comfortable with it. (Thus why she seemingly plots with her cohorts only to plan on stabbing them in the back later. Everyone is a toy to her - it's just that some toys are harder to reach. But she is confident that with time - and a little effort - even those toys will be within her grasp.)

Conciser View on Her Personality (Time-Line/Adstringendum Specific): Larxene acts like a spoiled brat in order to be seen as a leader. She doesn't recognize that a lot of her actions are counter-productive. Due to her tantrums and treatment of her fellow Nobodies (and everyone else in general), she has carved herself a conflicted and bitter nook within the Organization XIII ranks. What she wants most of all - power and prestige - is outside of her grasp because of her childish/temperamental nature.

However, it will take the Nobody a long while to see the error of her ways. While she's having fun, no one else matters to her - this is especially the case since the plan she forged with Marluxia failed. She understands that she is lonely and yet, for the most part, that more human feeling doesn't overcome her drive for being the center of attention. As a Nobody, Larxene knows that the only way to be the center of attention is to show your power and block all of your opponent's attacks.

Being defeated by Sora will weigh heavily on her. It wasn't something she imagined happening in a million years. However, now that it has, she feels a great deal weaker and more exposed. In order to hide these new feelings of herself, she will likely lash out and be defensive.

Larxene likes to fall back on the fear tactic in order to keep herself safe. Though there is more to her lurking under the surface. She wants acceptance; she wants respect and she wants to stand out from the pack. (On a lesser note, it also seems like she wants other sorts of attachments to her fellow Nobodies. Why else would she flirt with Axel?) But she will be damned if she is forced to grovel for any of those things. If people can't see that she deserves them then...

She'll show them through raw force or intimidation. Therefore I think it's safe to call Larxene the bullying egomaniac with a vain view of herself. Oh and you can also call her the Savage Nymph. That will probably get you better results.

Background: Larxene was found by Xigbar and thus inducted into the Organization. One of her first interactions was with Axel and it didn't go well. In fact, without realizing it, the red-haired Nobody earned her ire after that conversation. (Mainly because he hurt her feelings (as I stated in her personality).) A little while later, Larxene interacted with another Nobody - Marluxia. As opposed to her conversation with Axel, Larxene was able to be rather mature and slightly philosophical. In fact, she concluded that Nobodies like Marluxia and herself were probably better off without hearts. They then talk about taking over the Organization.

Later, in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Larxene is shown training Roxas - something she truly detests. However, later in the game, it's revealed that she does think he has skill and she even thinks about involving him in her and Marluxia's plan. (But it's good that she doesn't because Saïx - the Nobody closest to Xemnas - already knows about their plan. Thus why he sends them to Castle Oblivion.)

In Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Larxene along with Marluxia and Axel stay at Castle Oblivion to conduct experiments on memories. Whilst there, Larxene and Marluxia hold Naminé captive and coax Sora towards the Castle. Marluxia and Larxene's plan is to capture Sora's Keyblade and use it to conquer the Organization. However, thanks to Axel being a double-spy, their plan is doomed from the start. (It's clear that Larxene has a soft spot for him - despite her earlier ire. I can only assume that she was harboring a crush for Axel. Therefore, it never occurred to her that he would betray them. Clearly, Marluxia felt the same way, though I'm sure his reasoning was different from Larxene's.)

The moment Sora enters the Castle, Marluxia manipulates his memories so that he thinks Naminé was apart of his childhood. Larxene approaches him not long after, rubbing in the fact that Sora forgot someone so supposedly precious to him. She then lets things heat up by telling Vexen to make the Riku Replica think he is the real Riku.

To make matters worse, she even lets the Riku Replica believe that he had something special with Naminé too. As such, Sora and the Riku Replica begin to fight over who cares about Naminé the most. After that battle, Sora ascends to the upper floors of Castle Oblivion. There, Larxene and Marluxia push Vexen into fighting the Hero. Yet, shortly after Vexen's confrontation with Sora, Larxene and Marluxia give Axel orders to kill him. Axel passes the loyalty test (i.e. by killing Vexen) and he learns the rest of their plan.

Thanks to Axel being a double spy and letting Naminé tell Sora the truth, Larxene feels forced into telling Sora the rest (i.e. about his memories/the Riku Replica and Naminé) before battling him fiercely. She does not walk away from this fight. At this point, I would like for her to enter Adstringendum.

Abilities/Additional Notes: Larxene is the Nobody that wields electricity. She channels the white hot energy through her metal knives and either gives her enemy a nasty jolt or does away with them entirely in one swing. She is able to control how much electricity/lightning she puts forth in her attacks, but when her temper is running high, sometimes she overdoes it. (Thus why Axel makes the comment about "not breaking the toy" when she walks off to battle Sora.)

Her Limit Break is called Voltic Rush.

Additionally, though I highly doubt this will be applicable in Adstringendum, Larxene can use the Corridors of Darkness to move around. Thus, like her fellow Nobodies, she can disappear from any scene in a mass of shadows.

And I suppose, if push came to shove and she was without her lightning powers, she could always use her knives (kunai) to rend and slash the enemy. She does not lack in brute strength (which is surprising considering her size and gender).

Sample Journal Post: I c-can't believe...a bunch of...losers...killed me! (Shadows ensconce the PCD. Yet, through them, there are glimpses of black gloves and a black coat.) Axel, th-this is - (The woman grits her teeth and tilts her head back. The color of her hair is striking - it, more than anything, shines through the darkness.) I blame you! You betrayed us! How could you be such an idiot?!

(Larxene falls to her knees, sufficiently winded. After a period of silence, she begins to notice that the shadows are dissipating.)

Is this...what happens? Am I...nothing? (She holds out her hand, watching the shadows wrap lazily around her wrist.) I'm not dying. (It's a statement - blunt and devoid of emotion.

That's when the laughter begins. For those who recall her delightful giggle, it sounds a little more unhinged now.)

Don't tell me you did this so I would learn my lesson, Axel. (She grins cruelly.) If you're here, I'll find you. Make no mistake about that.

Sample RP: She was nothing and yet she walked; she breathed and she felt emotion. Since her near-death experience (thanks to that brat with the Keyblade), Larxene had felt nothing but white-hot rage. She couldn't explain how nothing could feel something. All she knew was that she did and someone was going to pay.

Unfurling her knives, the Savage Nymph allowed her lightning to pulse through her. If she didn't let off steam now and then, Adstringendum would be nothing but a crater by now. Or perhaps she was giving herself too much credit. Regardless, Larxene knew that the emotion she felt could be very dangerous if it was ignored.

Yet she had learned a thing or two since Axel's betrayal. It was better to keep some cards locked far, far away. Revealing your whole hand put you at the other's mercy and Larxene was determined not to fall into that trap again.

Whether you meant to or not, you taught me a great deal.

She pressed a gloved hand to her lips and blew a kiss into the air.

Now I'll educate you on where you went wrong.

A spark of pure heat flew off of one of her knives and grazed her cheek. The Nobody didn't even flinch. Thanks to Sora, Donald and Goofy, she now knew what it was like to be electrocuted. Little did they know that Larxene - like her brethren - had endured far worse pain during her search for a heart.

Marluxia and I are alike. Hearts hold no interest for us. I can live without mine. The question is: Axel, can you live without yours?

Oh how she would love to see him crater over something so insignificant. The very thought brought a smile to her lips. Perhaps her work would be done for her.

Yet Larxene couldn't say if that - or anything - would soothe the rage burning inside of her.
