The Procrastinator Returns

Oct 01, 2006 10:04

So it seems that I am alive and well, if not a bit overworked at the current moment, though hopefully I shall manage to stay afloat for the rest of the year..yes, I daresay I think I shall, even if to assume such of myself, given my record for being one hell of a procrastinator, is rather preposterous in and of itself ( Read more... )

Welcome back!

Hope to see those pictures--but when you get a chance, no rush.

I'm not making much progress w/The Novice--don't like the whole ring thing that lets Akkarin read Lorlen's mind--it seems somehow unnecessary. The parts of the story I like best are the parts that focus on Sonea.

Well, more later!

Ah, yes, one's heart does seem to go out to Sonea, but that is the point I suppose. ^.^; As it is, I've finally managed to progress further than you, as I finished reading both the Novice and then the High Lord directly after (in the same night actually) early last week...Now how's that for progress?

Actually all I managed to do is show that when I allow myself to focus on books, I tend to slip right through them and not realize how much time I end up devoting to them, which almost always ends up being hours on end.

As it is I can't wait until you finish so we can start a discussion about the series. And before anyone beats me to it, I have much love for Akkarin as a character as, once developed and explained, he is simply brilliant.

Did you go for a holiday that long? o_O
No wonder you don't update your journal for so long...bet two months lolz! ::grins::
XD

Hah! Don't say yourself a procrastinator... I myself one in the group. So yeah! Welcome in the club (that's one of the reasons I suffer through my exam now) but yet...in the end (most prob next year) I'll pull something through and boo-yah! I'll get the result. I might change some of my habits next year like less procrastinating... now that doesn't sound promising either. ::goes to la-la land::
;p

Indeed you should, and do tell me if you wish to read them any time soon, as I can lend them to you fairly easily...though at the moment Yasmeen is in possession of the first one, so you'll have to wait a bit. ^.^;
