all fun and games right?

So I travelled back yesterday. Had all gone to plan I would have been writing this last night and none of the chaos would have happened. Sadly the best laid plans of men and mice...

So I get to the airport at Newcastle, say goodbye to mom who very kindly brought me all the way there (and paid for the train tickets *grinz*)and the day starts off perfectly by me buying a new game and heading back to the lounge, only to discover, Yeup, Rebby left her bag behind. No big deal. Run back for it, manage to get it just before some guy comes to take it because it got reported for being luggage all on its own. Ok.. if that's the worst that happens, great.

Of course, it wasn't. I finally get on the plane to Newcastle, get to London Heathrow uneventfully. Then, fun games of fun games, the planes gate number is Not given.

It was supposed to leave at 8.15pm. Had it done so or even been just an hour late (most of us know what planes are like) I could quite happily have got the train to Oberursel still. Of course, this was not the case. It wasn't even put up as delayed, although it was quite obvious by 8.30pm and no sign of it even being announced that it certainly WAS delayed.

Apparently the captain who was supposed to fly the damn thing was ill. They had to get a new one. So I ask about this to the BA official I can find, "no worries, if you get caught in Frankfurt it's our job to make sure you have somewhere to stay or a way to get where you're going." Ok.. no worries. I can handle this.

10.30pm we Finally take off.. apparently it's going to take an hour and a quarter. Last train leaves Frankfurt at midnight. Please remember that Germany is an hour ahead of England, so although it's 10.30pm there.. it was 11.30pm here already.

However, I was informed by the flight attendants the same speil.. "it's our job to make sure you're safe."

All I can say, is that Someone in BA needs to get their facts right. Apparently it's only their responsibility if I had a connecting flight. The fact that I'm now trapped in Frankfurt from 12.40am until 5am is not their problem.

Oh. Yeah.. just to add to the fun and games. They lost my suitcase! UGH!

If I seem cranky today, it's because I spent a good four hours in an airport having only slept about 30mins to an hour the night before flying (my own fault that *sheepish grin*) and trying to find Somewhere I could sit down/lie down without worrying about the rest of my bags being stolen.

You know what? I don't think I'm gonna fly British Airlines again.

I knew I shouldn't have come back *laughs*

So yeah... I'm very limited on what clothes I can currently as well, because of course, clever Rebecca took ALL her trousers to England (I did need them though) and back to Germany in her.. yup.. suitcase!

Ever felt like someone up there was trying to tell you something? Something along the lines of "You weren't meant to go back to Germany" or "I've decided I dont' like you." or most probably "I'm bored, I have no one to pick on.. oh! She'll do!"

Meh... Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me!!!!

Well that's all the news worth updating on today.

I've slept a little bit more since, hence why I'm slightly more coherent than I would have been. But...

Love you all. Take care hm? I hope to speak to You really soon Kel!! I Really really need someone to talk to.

All my love.

Reb.
