The Light at the End of the Moving Tunnel
Most of the clothes are unpacked and In Their Place. (Often, this place may be different from the apartment. I've moved some stuff around.) I've finally gotten around to sealing the grout in the guest bathroom (master was done quite a while back) and put up the shower curtain rod and shower curtain. Small Insights
I realized last night that you can probably tell a lot about a person by how they pack/unpack their domicile, as a whole. Bad Move
To add injury to insult, half of my master closet just collapsed. Apparently the screws were in anchors 3" off the studs, rather than being anchored into studs. This doesn't fill me with confidence.

The Blargh Continues...
What I had originally wanted to accomplish last night:- Send e-mail that I meant to send on Sunday.
- Go home.
- Fix dinner.
- Take TV and some boxes to new place
- Play some LotRO.

I cannot quite express the degree to which I am pissed off right now. Fucking furniture store. Fucking salesperson on vacation. Delivery guys were polite, at least.

Good Times, Bad Times
I suppose it's more "Good Times, Enh Times" for me personally. AT&T (eventually) got U-verse installed in my new place yesterday. It took a couple of hours just to get signal inside; apparently someone had done something wrong at the box outside. Settling Down
So about a week ago, I finally broke down and did something I'd been sort of actively resisting for a while--I bought a house. Well, a condo townhouse. I was wanting to close before Christmas, but at least managed to close before the end of the year, and only about 24 days after signing a contract. Having problems being filled with Christmas cheer at the moment, though hopefully caroling this afternoon will help. I got my latest AT&T bill yesterday, and there was a mystery charge from OAN Services, Inc. on behalf of Cass Financial, Inc. for $9.15 for, allegedly, e-mail services. Why I Shouldn't Web-Surf....
I am cursing the fact that the last alcoholic holiday party is tomorrow night. With an extra week, I have a sneaking suspicion I would be taking my root beer vodka, reverse-spherifying some, and putting little root beer vodka gel-balls onto vanilla wafers for the party.
