Journals

That last entry was a bit pointless + feeble.
What I'm hoping to organise (urbane's idea) is a 1000journals.com type project for the hostees of nerdiness.net, with the contents of the journal then being scanned onto a page. I love this idea but what I'd love even more is if new people were getting involved. Actually I'd love to write to new people as ( Read more... )

Oh, this is slightly off topic - I was wondering where you buy your typewriter ribbons. My ribbon's starting to run out and no large near by chain stores (like WH Smith) sell them any more.
P.S If you're looking for somebody to write to who doesn't like an expensive postage distance away, and who would reply to you with ramblings on her new red typewriter, I'd be happy too. Scotland isn't exactly the other side of the world though.

Ah, bad news. Since my dear father packed away the typewriter because I didn't use it immediately I haven't had to deal with the problem of a lack of ribbon. I think I saw some on ebay once but other than that I can't be much of use. Sorry!
Oh yes yes yes I'd love to write to you! Maybe you could include some of your drawings, please? I'll email you my address right now so you'll have to write first. Hah.

Ah well, I'll have to continue searching around. I'll try ebay too, once I convince them that the reason we didn't pay the 40p we owe them is because we lost the wee form (they suspended the account!).

That's evil ... but okay, I'll write first. I'll go check my e-mail account.

The reason why they stay so clean is because they are not working as hard on their pieces.

It is impossible to work hard in an art class without getting dirty.

Ahh, is that why? I'd like to think that's so.
What do you think of the journals idea?
Also: I'm glad your cat came back, I do hate it when pets run away. No matter how annoying they are. (See, I do read your journal, I'm just verrry quiet about it)

heeble. I painted a lot yesterday, and I managed to keep it off of my clothes. but I got it all over my hands, and on my bedspread :-x oops.

Anyway, I was going to wait until my birthday was over (april 29) to go to borders and spend money. like, on the journal and such. I dunno, I might go earlier.

Ok that's fine. It's actually after the 29th now because of my lack of internet checkings. I wonder how we're going to go about this.. should I email everyone to see if they're all still interested?

During my art prelim I managed to get some brown-ey green paint on my sleeve that won't go away. It looks like I've sneezed on it and I get some weird looks. I wish we were still allowed to bring in our dads' old shirts to put on backwards like aprons. That was much easier.

We're allowed to bring in old shirts but I always forget. I have a spot of red paint on my shirt and my mum's new project is to try to get it off. She's failing though, it is a acrylic paint after all.

I always get messy in Art. Mainly because my friends find it funny to paint on me. :(
I don't think I have one school shirt left without paint on it. One has lots of red paint on it which looks like blood. All my school jumpers have paint on them too. We were never allowed to take in old shirts. I might do that just for the hell of it and see what people do! We don't even wear aprons, how silly.

I have a typewriter. Not a real one, a crappy kiddy one, but it's still so adorable I still use it sometimes. I'd love to contribute to this journal thing if I may? I don't really know quite what it's about though, sounds fun all the same.
