OMG! You caught it, too? I was so, SO pissed that they did that. Did they even get permission? Why would they use something called The Final Fight on a preview for a premiere episode of Smallville? I'm really annoyed. I don't watch Smallville very often because I abhor Kristin Kreuk, and I think they devoted too much time to Clark and Lana, but even with the episodes that seemed good...Smallville could never compare to BtVS.
Did you watch Beauty and the Geek tonight, or something else? I missed it because I was watching NCIS. I'll probably start recording NCIS and watching BatG, though. This season seems better than the last one.
They did devote a lot of time to Clark and Lana. And I was soo happy when they started moving the direction to Clark/Lois, but they had to stop because of the movie when it came out or something like that. They didn't have the rights for it, is what I was told.
And yea, Smallville could never compare. It's not really groundbreaking as it's based off something that's been around for decades.
I don't watch Beauty and the Geek. I did when it first came out, but stopped for some reason. I did watch Reaper just because I wanted to see how it was. Clearly, it's not Supernatural, but I enjoyed what I saw. That's when I saw the commercial. I was reading something on my laptop when I heard the music and got excited because it was a Buffy commercial for some strange reason, only to find it wasn't.
What do I watch at 8:00..? I have no clue. My tv schedule is all out of whack. It's even worse now that I work at night, but I made sure to NEVER work on Thursdays.
I loved Reaper. I sort of see Reaper Sam as being the complete opposite of Supernatural Sam. R!Sam is kind of a screw up, who dropped out of college and doesn't have much courage to go after his goals. S!Sam is completely focused on the big picture, but he still seems to hate what he's doing. If it wasn't for Dean's bargain, he probably would have stopped. Well, he would have been dead, but you know what I mean.
I did love the lie that Reaper Sam told his mom, just to make her feel better. It was both sad and sweet.

If all goes well, I can sooo see some crossovers popping up. If not Buffy/Reaper, but Supernatural/Reaper.
