While I love this episode, PLEASE QUIT AIRING IT. I want you to cover more deserving chapters of the novels.

Haruhi Suzumiya season 2.

Eh, I'm finding it hard to care about the second season of Haruhi. I think it had its gimmick, and with the episode flip-flop, the first season was really unique and interesting. But it doesn't look like they're attempting to do anything besides 'day in the life' stuff, and I don't know what they'd even be able to do to match the scale of the first season's big revelations anyway.

I'd much rather them work on K-On!

I'm watching it on the hopes that they air Disappearance as that's what I specifically wanted to see animated after reading that book. While there are specific chapters that take place before it that I want to watch as well, Disappearance is my main hope.

And more K-on would be a good thing.

Rumour mill says it will be 6 episodes unfortunately. It also says that Kadokawa was very angry with this and that the producer was fired, but the episodes were already made. Not certain what kind of sourced were involved though.

It is uncertain what the chances for Disappearance are at the moment. Much of the promotion material has been hinting towards Disappearance, but the new OP hints that Sigh might be the main story arch for this season. I doubt that they would drop Disappearance after all the things they did hinting towards it, but there is a possibility that it might be the start of another season, which some people believe they'd start airing on 18/12/2009 (or 2010 if we're unlucky).
