Is it gay if both people in the relationship are gender undetermined?

Well, actually it was a question spawned from a webcomic I read. Where a character's gender is deliberately ambiguous...that later gets married to an equally ambiguous character. :P

A few possible answers:

"Possibly."

"It is, in fact, a quantum superposition of (male) gay, (female) gay, and straight."

A gender indeterminate person is stranger than a homosexual person
-> (substitute "queer" for synonyms)
A gender indeterminate person is queerer than a homosexual person
-> (substitute "gay" for synonyms)
A gender indeterminate person is gayer than a gay person.
-> (it therefore follows)
"Gayer than gay."
