desert life?
I went to the San Xavier mission with Dayna on her last day here. They were restoring the place, so outside it was all half-lame, but still beautiful. They used/use prickly pear juice in the plaster (limestone based) on the outer walls. Maybe that isn't interesting to anyone else.
This is part of the interior. They have these carved lions in there that look just like monkeys. Its ridiculous. everything else is pretty.
After checking out the mission, we went to a casino because it was the closest place with food. Dayna played in the fountain outside:
It was my first time inside a casino, and it smelled exactly like I had imagined. and I HAD imagined the smell before.
