working on the farm has always sucked and today is no exception. i just spend the last 2 and a half hours working and i'm about to go back for another hour or maybe even longer. i don't mind helping out, i owe them a lot of money as a matter of fact and this is a good way of working off my debt, but i've never been a good farmer, much less good ( Read more... )

oh, i wish you had said something yesterday. my dad called last night and i'm going down there this weekend. i'm sorry :(

and don't say you're not good at anything, because i know that you are. you're a lot more talented than me, both at art and writing. and you're prolly the smartest person i know.

Ahhh working on a farm is a nightmare , my family does that shit. My dad is actually enjoys it i think. That means hell for me , mostly i can get out of it now.

I helped farm 38 acres of tobacco... planting it, spreading fertilizer, spraying for insects, praying that it doesn't hail, topping it, deweeding it, cutting it, stacking it, spearing it, carrying it to the barn, grading it, taking it to the warehouse.

All basically for nothing... we stopped farming when I was about 13 or 14. You can't get shit out of farming now-a-days unless you've got 1,000+ acres. We used to own quite a bit of land at one time...
