Zechs is currently sitting at his office desk. One who looked in might notice his very obvious frustration; the particularly astute observer might notice that he's trussed from head to toe in red tape. Not literally, of course, because it's incredibly doubtful that anyone could get close enough and, if they did manage to, even more unlikely that

Would his boredom be alievated by a visitor? One has to hope so, for that is what he is getting now. Heero opens the door to Zechs' office, not bothering to knock - he blinks at the sight that he sees, and then just... decides not to ask.

Normally, he would say something sarcastic, but today is far more important.

"Zechs," he says, flatly.

It's very fortunate that Zechs still possesses his legendary reflexes, because if he didn't, he'd probably be down in Sally's infirmary within five minutes. As things are, he snatches the pencil before it can fall into his eye and drops it into a desk drawer in a single swift motion.

At least it's only Heero.

'Heero,' he replies, sitting up straight in his chair and arching an eyebrow. Given the fact that the boy is choosing not to make some sort of sarcastic comment, he suspects that this is going to be one of those closed-door meetings their babysitters aren't supposed to find out about.

Zechs's suspicions are exactly right. Heero shuts the door firmly with his foot, and tosses a folder onto Zechs' desk.

"I think you might find this interesting," he says.

Zechs blinks, and picks up the folder. A few short years ago he'd be highly distrustful of Gundam pilots bearing gifts, but experience has taught him that while he has political contacts, Heero has ones that his own rank doesn't let him get to. He certainly knows better than to ask where Heero gets any of the information he delivers under such cirumstances
