How much is that doggy in the window? The one with the waggly tail.

I have lots to talk about. Try not to get lost in the epic ramblings of a not-posting-enough-in-smaller-doses Ashley.

In order of increasing importance:

* My SIFF movie of choice to see this year was Burke & Hare, which has Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) and Andy Serkis (LotR's Gollum) as grave robbers in 1830's England ( Read more... )

that I am not really prepared to factor in someone else into my life, whether that's making space for them (I seem to expand to fill my living spaces), or in adjusting for their time to get ready when making plans. Having to stop and slow down, know that I need to go home and take care of the dog would be good for me to remember that my life doesn't/won't always revolve around just me.

i don't necessarily think this of you but i applaud your ability to recognize that it could be what you need. i really do. it's hard to recognize and address those things.

also i want to meet the furface. because now i love him.

Yay dog! Getting our pup was the best thing we could have ever done, I'm sure you'll soon forget what life was ever like Before Dog.

I've so loved having him around. My landlord even said tonight that I'm happier than he's seen me in a long time :)

The house viewing was very educational. Saw some things that I liked, others that I really didn't (old-fashioned, cobwebby root celler, EEK!), and will be checking out a few more in the upcoming weeks. My parents are going to see a few of the ones I've just seen on Saturday, to give their opinion. It's all so exciting!!!

Teddy is just adorable! You sound like a proud mama!

I would definitely pick the first house - it's gorgeous! And it would be gated for little Teddy :)

Oh, god, I've become SUCH a "new mom!" People ask how I'm doing, and I start babbling about my boy, and how smart and wonderful he is, and ooooh, here's some pictures! :P

I suspect the first house won't be the one I go with, but it is inspiration for what I hope to turn my eventual into looking. So cheerful and pretty!
