So, I get those babycenter e-mails that give you little tidbits about development "Your baby is X months & weeks today..." kinda thing. And for this week, this popped out at me: "When he gets loud or whiny, kneel down to your child's level and tell him you're listening. I don't think most 15-month-olds are developmentally ready to start learning how to ask for things in quiet sentences, no, but I do think most moms of 15-month-olds are developmentally ready to start learning how to speak Mom-ese... and I suspect this particular lesson is aimed at them, not their toddlers. ;-)
