alright. that icon post has to do with (i'll wait for your surprised face) vampire books.

the quote you liked is said by a main character, who's a vampire.

he and his family hunt animals. but, like, actually hunt. like take down grizzlies. it's comedy.

his girlfriend is human. she wants to be a vampire. and she says that they can go live in the north pole or whatever with penguins and live there, away from other people. that's the paraphrase.

his response, said very calmly and with a smirk, was "penguins. lovely."

<3 there you go. they are not the best books, plot-wise (someone might throw something at me for that) but the characters are very, very well done. so i love them. yes.

and now you may carry on with your penguin love. :D
