yes i am. i'll actually be out there later today/this weekend. i don't know if i'm staying beyond saturday night, but i'll be there.
i'll probably be there a time or two more, too. i'm loading up my car with stuff that will not be coming to seattle with me, so however many car-fulls of stuff my parents might want, even if they sell it at a yard sale, that's how many trips i'm making.
Mmm. I'll be down at the old house late this afternoon and into the early evening... but probably not again until Sunday. However, if we could coordinate a meeting, I'll take whatever books you wanna shove my way. I'd throw you a buck or two for the gtfo fund, but my cash is currently going towards the omg-I-forgot-I'd-need-a-new-one-of-those-in-a-new-house fund. (Dude, I forgot SO much stuff!)
Since you'll be at your folks' a few more times, why don't you see what others would like to take, and whatever is left over, you can leave in PA with somebody other than your parents. (That would be me. ;) )
ok that's the cover chapters.com has as well. I got excited for a moment because I'd love to have it WITHOUT kiki on the cover but nevertheless it is still on my wishlist. I think Ben has paypal so I will ask him if I can use it. How much would you want for shipping because I know I am far?
Um, I forgot to say "These are the books I want," but I assume it was clear. I have to toss some cash into my PayPal account because there's nothing in there. Just let me know how much. :)
I actually just learned that I can use a credit card on PayPal, which would be fantastic, and not require a stamp (which I don't think I have). :) But if it's easier for you, I'll write a check.
I usually just take the stuff to the post office and have them tell me postage. I can wait a while if you want to do that and do everyone's at once, and then just bill me.
nice choice. i love that. :) i'll have to find out the postage... it kills me that most of my stuff won't fit in my car. you're, like, over where i'm moving to.
(i'll let you know what the post office says re: weight and price).

where the sidewalk ends (silverstein)
soft cover:
alice's adventures through the looking glass (carroll)
choke (pahlahniuk)
the devil wears prada (weisberger)
And I would enjoy the buffy book if you're including it in these shenanigans.
I wanted a bunch more but I really can't be spending as much on books as it would have cost to ship them. :)
BTW, be sure to send it media rate, at least for me. It's super-crazy-cheap, but it takes longer (like 5-9 business days).
ALSO, Traveling Pants rocks my ass. That is all.
