Alas Cornell is not my dream school

Cornell is in the middle of nowhere. It took us 4 1/2 hours to get there, with about 3 hours of mooing cows, pastures with occasional red barns, and horses (and ONE person that we spotted outside in the three hours). The "town" surrounding it is nothing more than a multitude of restaurants with the occasional off-campus dorm or frat house ( Read more... )

I used to live an hour away from Cornell before we moved her. OH DEAR GOD IT'S THE MOST BORING AREA IN THE WORLD.

... However, the Cornell Museum of Glass isn't too far away.

And I couldn't you agree with you more on Writing Section discrimination. BLARGH.

haha I know who you are.... and it is quite boring, I'm afraid even the glass won't make up for it... HOW COULD YOU SURVIVE

but then again, it's secluded like Hogwarts, like a boarding school in the middle of nowhere and Hogsmeade seems to be enough for them, eh?
