Voldemort wanted his enemy's despair. And, of course, a broken Connor would be more compliant, and he might as well have some fun hurting him, since he was never going to kill him.

Draco is pretty adorable, in a hard, cold, Malfoy kind of way, in this chapter.

This was absolutely astounding. I have not reviewed for a very long time because my account was being a twat but I'm speechless at this chapter.
I've never been the biggest Connor-fan and still I don't like him that much but it is horrible what is happening to him.
I keep checking the LJ to see if there is a new chapter, I NEED to know what is going to happen. Is Harry going to defeat Voldemort soon? I hope so. I just hope that It's Harry who defeats Voldemort and NOT Connor because then, I don't know, It will just feel wrong and incomplete.

My Harry, how on earth can he survive through so much loss and pain. Is everyone going to die? Yes. Damn.

Well, as you see if you've read Chapter 79, it depends very much on what you meant by "defeat."

Not everyone dies. But Harry sure has a long healing period ahead of him.
