*cries* Oh god. Connor. *cries again* Yes, he was selfish and bratty, but oh god. He changed so much throughout the series, and now everything is over. It's only a shame Connor didn't live to see it. *cries again* And poor Parvati... but terribly beautiful in a way, if you know what I mean. Almost terribly beautiful.

Thank you!

Connor's change was for two reasons- to make this sacrifice hurt more, admittedly, but also because I wanted to show that he could/i> change, that he wasn't irredeemable just because he'd been a brat for three years.

Thank you. Er. If you know what I mean. (Not that I'm rejoicing in causing you pain).

Thank you for saying so. It does do what it was meant to do, then.

I was sure it was going to be Draco who sacrificed himself, right up until Connor took down the switching potion and healing potion.

Excellent chapter Lightning! Now there's one more right? You've got all sorts of closure to give us. But awesome AWESOME writing. Throughout all the books. We laughed and cried along with the lifelike characters that you filled out. You're an extraordinarily talented author!

Harry would never, ever have let Draco do such a thing. He wouldn't even have let Regulus do it, if he was in the garden that night.

The story will end on an epilogue after Chapter 85, so it should end on Friday/Saturday depending on where in the world you are.

oh god.... not Connor.... he was the one person i most wanted to survive this war..... my only hope is that he and his wife will be together in the next life as their marriage bind their souls together....

They will. That's the exact reason I mentioned what kind of marriage ritual they used.
