Aw, NOW I cried!
As well as calling him "brother," I actually was more impressed that Draco called him by his first name.

He's done that before, usually when he wasn't so irritated at him. But "brother" is unique to this time.

And Draco saw Connor’s bloody face and smiling mouth in his mind again, and thought, as he would never do again, Farewell, brother.

That quote from the poem, for the title... "I am also, I also, thy brother; I go as I came unto earth." And it's so poignant. :(

Thank you.

I'm actually surprised a few more people didn't guess the end, from that quote alone.

Beautiful! Thank you for writing this. Can't wait for the resolution and the tying up of the myriad of loose ends. Somehow I think Harry won't want to bother with the new Ministry after this.

He won't be as involved, but he won't need to be. For one thing, the new election for the new Minister will happen fairly soon.

Amazing as always. I am amazed that the Light gave Draco a gift when he is declared Dark, but I guess since he is with Harry the Light knows he isn't completely dark.

Can't wait for more.

Thank you!

That gift was essentially to help Draco understand Harry better. It doesn't prevent Draco from still acting in Dark ways.
