My desktop has been making some odd noises for a while now. I was pretty sure it was a fan, but I've been keeping it off, just in case. Unfortunately, ASUS's (the maker of my mobo) website has been stupid, so I've been unable to download the newest diagnostic program, that would let me take a look at hard numbers. Boo to having to replace stuff, but it's kinda nice that you can get enormous hard drives relatively cheap. My desktop needs a new one; I keep saying I don't have the money, but I've really just been too lazy to deal with it.

Yeah, my desktop has been broken about a month or so. Since I bring my laptop to the lab with me, and I lost the antenna to my wireless card, and my wireless router is too far away for a cable, so I haven't really bothered.

Yes . . . since I got a new laptop about a month ago, I've been even less interested in fixing my desktop. I'm thinking about just giving it to my parents, but I'll probably still need to replace the hard drive before I do. Meh.
