Eat the candy? [The idea hadn't occurred to her.] I didn't even question that there might be anything odd about it... but a child came up around trick or treating, so I gave them one. Oh dear...

I wouldn't worry too much about it. The island's gods didn't really hurt us last time, even if the aftermath was...uncomfortable. I doubt they'd give us something that'd hurt children.

Yeah...I'm a sentient replication of human life. An android. I was apparently designed to emulate human beings in appearance and manner. My technical data, though, suggests that I might have been a combat model.

Yeah...if you're used to different technology, a walking, talking construct can be pretty unreal.

I don't know anything about my world. If androids like me are commonplace, or if I'm one of a kind...what I was made for, and who made me... I hope Memento Eden will give me the answers at some point.
