I feel that this problem is largely do to the fact that we have been able to become so disconnected with our actions. If we had to kill our meat for survival many people may not be able to kill the cow they need to eat for dinner. Oh, yes, they would. It wouldn't be right away, but they would.

eventually anyone can get used to anything, but we would not want to even if we may support it indirectly :-p know what you are doing when you do something people! :-p
