I have been posting a few blogs here and there on my myspace profiles so I will go ahead and post one or two of them here just for those few who want to keep up with me.
Well, this weekend was really neat for me. We had a Fourth Way Seminar at Navasota. Anyone who doesn't know what that is, its hard to explain but I will say that I got a lot out of it. I realized that no matter what, I am still able to be loved and I am loved by all the people that were there. For someone who has struggled with self image as long as I have, it was a great feeling.
Also, I was so glad that I got to make a connection with a guy that I had been wishing would grow up and get over it. I realized that he was not as much of a heterophob and I thought he was.
I wish I could talk about what happened but its one of those you had to be there kinda things to really understand. So I will just say that anyone who wants to find out more about themselves, I recommend a seminar. It helps me to connect to myself and to others and realize that I am powerful and I can make things happen.
Also, I realized that I will never be able to hear the song "The Internet is for Porn" without thinking about David being Trekkie monster for me as Kate monster. (if you havn't heard the song, its a hoot)
So, yeah, then I took off work Monday to recover and now I am wishing that I had slept the whole day. My throat hurts and I have this funky cough and I just don't get it. Did I push myself too far? Is it just allergies? I better not be getting sick cause I just don't have time to get sick any more.
Ren Fest is getting closer and closer. I can't wait.
