I know this is beside the point and not the reason you're in GSA, but colleges, most likely, would look favorably upon that. And that you're involved politically in demonstrations and whatnot... because it means you're doing something important that's beyond the little bubble of high school life...
I kinda believe that a lot of those things don't make much of an impact... but it's better to try than just sit there.
i know what you mean, besides, alot of colleges i've looked up have very large political organizations, its not like im going to go to a conservative school anyways odviously. i also see how alot of these things dont make much of an impact. there have been alot of hardcore antiviolence people that get annoyed at peace ralliers for being too simple, but and the point is to show the nation that there IS a large antiwar community. I think it would be great if those that wanted peace would put as much dedication and hard work into it as people who work for war. that means more than just demonstrations every now and then, but for now what else can I do? and besides, i get to tape it :) yay media! either way, thank you for your support! its very uplifting to have a supersmart person in a supersmart college approve my extracurricular activities. :)
100% support you Bing, GSA is a very good cause! And u'r right, if we didn't demonstrate and make an impact on peoples lives then thier would be a lot of discriminaiton in the world.
