It's something of a no-brainer, but I find it telling that this line received by far the most applause at the Harvard Medical School cafeteria where I watched Obama's inaugural speech.

The biggest fuss at our viewing party was when he mentioned "non-believers" as, well, existing. It was token, but we'll take it.
