Best of luck, both of you as well. Any chance you could stay at PCC for summer quarter? I remember that being the easiest way I could find to stay afloat.
I did that last year and it worked out pretty well. I'll be done at PCC after this term, so I'm considering alternatives, including living at my parents' and doing an internship at the national seashore.
There are rooms available in the house where I'm living now, as roommates move to live with SOs. The house is part of an informal community in NE--in fact, it's the very house where I was living when Susan originally formed. Neighbors, who by and large work for ecologically-oriented non-profits, share meals twice a week. A tiny room that's quite inexpensive should be open in May, and there's a bigger one available now. I can put you in touch with the landlady if you're curious.
