Well, you could use them on a free account if you felt like spending the other $3 to make $5 for a paid account (or if you spent $5 for the paid account and then used your coupon for the extra icons). If you really want to give the $2 up, all you should have to do is tell someone else the coupon code in your e-mail notification.
