Spinach, kale, and mustard greens are good sources of dietary iron.
And just on WebMD, I found this:
Iron in plant foods such as lentils, beans, and spinach is nonheme iron. This is the form of iron added to iron-enriched and iron-fortified foods. Our bodies are less efficient at absorbing nonheme iron, but most dietary iron is nonheme iron

Exactly this. That's pretty much verbatim what the blood bank told me to improve my iron levels so that I could donate blood again. Also note (I am assuming you're female...?) that women have slightly lower natural iron levels than men, but also are more prone to reduced iron levels because of menstruation and the resultant regular loss of nutrients.
I take supplements in addition to making sure that my diet includes at least one serving of food that contains iron every day. It seems to have worked so far. :)

I do take iron pill my doctor gave. and trying to have some food but not a big fan of meat so i am trying very very hard!
