I just needed to let you know that she's gone.  The vet said that she had a tumor in her gall bladder and that no amount of money could fix it.  So I had the vet put her down this morning, and I held her while she went to sleep.  And I'm heartbroken.  She was my first thing in the morning and my last thing at night.

I'm so so so so sorry, LJ. I know how you feel, and as I look at my aging pooches, I worry about that feeling again. I'm just so sorry.
You gave her a good good life, and try to focus on the fact that she was well loved and pampered. And that she loved you SO much.
